About Apartment Building Supplies

All sales to individuals will be on a cash basis. Sales to Federal, State and Local government accounts as well as approved commercial entities can be made on 30 days net terms with a purchase order. All orders in excess of $5000.00 net must be approved by formal purchase order/acknowledgement. (Formal Purchase Orders can be faxed toll-free to 1-866-329-2272 or sent as an e-mail attachment to sales@absupplyco.com). All invoices are to be paid within 30 days of the invoice date. No discount for prompt payment will be allowed. A 1.85% monthly service charge will be applied on all accounts past due 30 days. Buyer agrees to pay reasonable attorney’s fee of unpaid balance when turned over to collection. Credit balances will be applied to over 90-day unpaid invoices.

All orders must be approved for shipment. Orders are only approved in our Salem, NH office. The possession of our catalog, access to any Internet site or any of our printed material does not preclude this approval.

Claims for shortages must be made within 48 hours after receipt of shipment. Defective items will be replaced free of charge. This does not include items damaged through misuse or abuse. Our liability is limited to the replacement of defective parts and does not extend to damages, or losses, due to the use or inability to use, or failure to follow the specific instructions in any of our products. Customer will also incur shipping charges for return of material improperly ordered by the customer.

Shipments are normally made to MA and NH via our sales staff and delivery personnel. Shipments to RI and CT via UPS ground or FEDEX ground. Delivery is contingent on government regulations, strikes, and any circumstances beyond our control.

Free shipping for all orders placed over $100 within our sales territory for orders delivered by our truck or ground parcel service. Overnight shipping may incur additional fee.

Minimum order of $100.

Some items such as appliances, chemicals, china and cabinets are non-returnable. Specialty items are any product or material that requires specific measurements or data at the time of ordering. These items cannot be returned unless due to manufacturing defect. 

A.B. Supply Company, Inc. will not distribute any personal information such as name, address, phone number, email address, IP address, site traffic, to any external entity or individual. A.B. Supply Company, Inc. may attempt to communicate with you in the form of marketing & informative emails on a regular basis. New website members will be subscribed to our email marketing campaigns and can unsubscribe at any time.

Prices are subject to change without notice and unless otherwise agreed, all orders are accepted based on prices prevailing at the time of order entry. Price quotes will only be valid for 30 days after quote date.

Returns can be made by contacting your sales representative, if applicable, or by calling 1-800-787-2378 or sales@absupplyco.com. No returns will be accepted after 30 days of the invoice date, without a written authorization. This written authorization will be issued based on our ability to return/resell the material and will be subject to handling and/or restocking fee of 20%. Chemicals, appliances, china, special orders and items previously installed cannot be returned. Please provide original invoice number on returns. 

Local taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser with the exception of the following states: CT, MA, RI. In these states, sales tax will be charged unless an appropriate tax exemption certificate is supplied.
